About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide accurate and timely delivery of services, supporting the maximisation of revenue collection for Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies, and procedures.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide a high quality, customer focused liaison service to patients ensuring patients receive an informed choice about treatment options in a public hospital in line with the rules of the NHRA.
- Assist in the completion of essential admission paperwork and payment schedules for Medicare Ineligible, motor vehicle, Workcover and private patients.
- Reconcile and maintain on a weekly basis the Medicare ineligible database back to EDIS and ESM including updating details to ensure accuracy and compliance of paperwork for both Emergency & Outpatient departments.
- Ensure essential paperwork is completed for identified Workcover patients and sent to the appropriate agencies.
- Provide staff training and high-level support in revenue processes to ensure high quality data compliance and understanding of revenue processes.
