About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide advanced leadership in consultation with the Nursing Director of CSDS and the Executive Director of Clinical Governance to embed a culture of compassionate care across Metro North Health. The role functions as an effective interprofessional team member, demonstrating professional and clinical expertise and contemporary knowledge in compassionate care principles.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Undertake, and participate in ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Work collaboratively with the interprofessional team and executive members by demonstrating advanced skills in strategic planning, quality management and professional leadership that contribute to strategic direction, imperatives and actions related to projects.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of sustainable, contemporary, and innovative strategies that support Metro North Health staff to deliver high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide effective leadership to facilitate guidance and development related to the management of the complex negotiation and communication interactions necessary for collaborative working relationships within the team.
