About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to manage and lead the Technology Procurement sourcing function across Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) to provide cost effective, risk managed customer service focused outcomes in conjunction with the Category Manager, Technology Procurement.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide leadership, advice and support on procurement strategies, contractual administration and procurement procedures.
- Manage a small team, ensuring the team provides timely, cost effective and customer focused services to MNHHS by providing leadership support in end-to-end procurement activities, prioritising workloads according to clinical/end user needs and monitoring individual performance.
- Protection of MNHHS reputation by ensuring highest standard possible is achieved in procurement activities including probity, accountability and transparency.
- Promote a culture of high-level customer service across all elements of procurement in MNHHS and address resistance or obstacles in a customer focused and constructive manner.
- Provide expert advice to the Procurement Team, Suppliers and key stakeholders on the QITC Contracting framework.
