About the role
Permanent and temporary opportunities to be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing exceptional clinical management of patients admitted to virtual wards throughout the Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide professional and clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination policies and the Code of Conduct for The Queensland Public Service.
- Demonstrate high-performance in the delivery of exceptional quality care to patients to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
- Participate in research opportunities and endeavour at all times to support the research activities of colleagues.
- Provide expert medical guidance in clinical and service improvement activities and, in consultation with the Medical Director Metro North Health Virtual Ward, initiate, encourage and participate in the evaluation and implementation of innovative treatment and care aimed at achieving demonstrable improvements in service outcomes for Metro North Health clinical streams.
