About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to to undertake activities relevant to the development and maintenance of Metro North Health's preparedness, response and recovery capabilities for disasters, emergency incidents, disruptions, and major events. The role will focus on health service wide administration and implementation of an incident management system and associated software including training, system support and change management.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide advice on disaster, emergency and disruption policy, planning and education to senior and supervising staff as required to support Metro North Health and its Directorates.
- Support the implementation of disaster, emergency and disruption related projects, using recognised project management methodologies.
- Support the development of local education and training content in collaboration with local subject matter experts.
- Coordinate and schedule the delivery of education and training interventions in collaboration with local subject matter experts.
- Participate as a member of a team in service development, evaluation and quality improvement activities to ensure continuous provision of quality services.
