North Lakes State College opened its doors in 2002 and enables students to commence in Prep and continue through to Year 12 across our two campuses. 

The College has established a well-planned and sequenced curriculum program that is supported by a large selection of extra-curricular activities which assist students to explore their talents, interests and abilities. Mentoring is available for early career teachers. We run a beginning teacher program and new to NLSC program for teachers transferred in. As NLSC is large this is a supportive system to provide levels of support within the College. Experienced teachers have lots of opportunities for promotion and upskilling in our aspiring leader program.

Senior Secondary English teacher is desirable, Experience or graduate teacher would be a good option, subject experience within the English discipline.

  • Mathematical Methods Year 7-12 - Temp 09/05/25 - 12/12/25

Ability to Teach across 7 to 12. Specifically, the higher end of Mathematics - Mathematic Methods or Specialist Mathematics.

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.   • In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
  • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department
