An opportunity exists in the Queensland Department of Education, Metropolitan North Region, Partnerships and Programs team for a Partnerships Facilitator (Early Years). If you're looking for an opportunity to develop strategies to identify and respond to regional and local early childhood needs including undertaking targeted activities and collaborating with clients and stakeholders (including schools and ECEC services) - this role is for you. The Team:
The Metropolitan North Region Partnerships & Programs team is dedicated to ensuring every child has access to high-quality early childhood education that supports their growth, development, and future success. We are committed to fostering strong community partnerships and providing innovative programs to ensure positive outcomes for young learners. We're seeking a Partnerships Facilitator (Early Years) to join our team in the Metropolitan North Region.
Your Role:
As a Partnerships Facilitator (Early Years), you will play an essential role in establishing and strengthening relationships with community organisations, local governments, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure positive and confident transitions. You will develop strategies aimed at maximising access, participation and engagement across the early learning pathway. You will work collaboratively to enhance early childhood initiatives, ensuring they meet the needs of children, families, and communities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key community stakeholders in the early childhood sector.
- Support communities to implement approaches and undertake targeted activities to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Provide advice and support to promote innovation and leverage integrated service delivery and service capability in communities, by sourcing, analysing and disseminating critical data on demographic, economic and social needs.
- Contribute to the regional strategic plan by identifying local priorities and addressing emerging issues and trends for assessment and quality improvement and integrated service delivery.
- Develop and implement plans to develop strong early years outcomes and drive state initiatives.
- Monitor partnership and plan progress and outcomes, providing regular updates to the Department's leadership and relevant stakeholders.
About You:
You will be required to influence others, use your problem solving and analytical skills, communicate complex concepts and make informed recommendations to senior and executive management, utilising your:
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to build and sustain relationships with a diverse range of community partners.
- A deep passion for early childhood education and supporting the development of young children.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
As this vacancy involves regular school visits, it is a requirement to possess a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services and have a current driver's licence.
