Rainworth State School is seeking a Deputy Principal to join the leadership team for Term 4, 2025.

About the Role

An opportunity exists for an Acting Deputy Principal to lead our team of passionate, highly effective staff.

As an Acting Deputy Principal, you will be a member of the Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction and agenda of the school.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with the Principal, HOD-C, HOSES, and classroom teachers to plan and implement effective pedagogy and behaviour strategies across the school.
  • Mentor new staff, observe lessons, and provide feedback to support professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the Principal to create class groupings for the next school year.
  • Liaise with families, attend P&C meetings, and coordinate school events to foster community engagement.
  • Lead the Mathematics Priority Group, ensuring initiatives align with the school's Strategic Plan.
  • Coordinate and timetable NCT, specialist teachers, and playground duty rosters.
  • Support the Principal in guiding a highly capable and motivated staff team.
