As the Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the regional office by monitoring and coordinating the delivery of key corporate functions, from human resource to financial management.

You will also provide high-level professional and executive support to the Executive Director, Directors and departmental officers, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office.

Why this Role?

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the regional office, ensuring efficiency in office procedures and systems, priorities are met, deadlines achieved and the office functions effectively.
  • Monitor and report on corporate compliance and budget performance of the region and actively participate in the development of business plans and budget submissions in consultation with senior officers and other staff.
  • Provide advice to senior officers and other staff in relation to current and emerging corporate governance and organisational issues which impact on the effectiveness, quality of service delivery and the achievement of outcomes of region.
  • Ensure currency and working knowledge of the relevant acts, and procedures, pertinent accounting standards and business practices and policies for funding and appropriation administration.
