About the Role:
As Business Manager, you will be a key member of the Executive Management Team, providing high-level strategic leadership and operational oversight across all corporate service functions within the school.
Reporting directly to the Principal, this role is responsible for ensuring the effective, efficient, and compliant management of financial, human, and physical resources in a complex and dynamic educational environment, experiencing significant growth.
The role requires a forward-thinking leader with strong governance, who can align operational systems and resource management with the school's strategic priorities, ensuring sustainable and impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to the Principal and leadership team on financial planning, budgeting and resource management
- Lead and manage school support staff, including workforce planning, performance and capability development
- Oversee financial performance, ensuring integrity, compliance and alignment with departmental requirements
- Manage facilities, asset maintenance and capital works, including contractor engagement
- Drive continuous improvement through reviewing and enhancing systems, processes and technology
- Lead complex HR matters including recruitment, workforce strategy and employee relations
- Build strong partnerships with community, government and industry stakeholders
- Identify and implement innovative operational practices and funding opportunities
