You will possess strong knowledge of inclusive education and behavioural engagement support, applying a trauma-informed approach to managing complex student cases.

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working in genuine partnership with families and external agencies.

Your leadership will support and inspire staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning while fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture.

Who We Are:

Albany Creek Primary School was established in 1874 and opened in 1875.

It remained a small country school until the mid 1970's when nearby housing developments caused a rapid growth in school population.

Albany Creek Primary currently has a student population of approximately 720 students from prep to year six. 

Our school has a strong and proud history.

We offer a high-quality learning program, where we strive to ensure students have fun, are challenged, and grow as learners and citizens.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support provided by the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program.
  • Lead and manage the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program to provide advice to classroom teachers for students with disability as needed.
  • Provide high quality advice to the school leadership team, classroom teachers and other school staff to develop, plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disability.
  • Coordinate and provide intensive targeted teaching for students requiring intervention.
  • Provide, support and/or coordinate case management for students who require extensive or substantial adjustments.
