Your responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, samples, chemicals, and materials for practical science lessons
- Safely manage chemicals, laboratory hazards, waste disposal, and compliance procedures
- Maintain laboratories, preparation rooms, storerooms, and scientific equipment in a safe and orderly condition
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and apparatus
- Support teachers and students during experiments, demonstrations, and field trips
- Assist with STEM initiatives and provide technical support for practical curriculum activities
- Manage stock, inventories, chemical registers, deliveries, purchasing, and budget records
- Maintain laboratory protocols, safety documentation, and regulatory registers
- Collect and manage scientific resources, field samples, flora, and fauna in line with regulations

Progressional roles show a salary range spanning two classifications. Appointment will be made at the level appropriate to skill and fulfilment of required criteria.
