Jinibara State School is seeking an experienced A03 Administration Officer to join our small supportive team.
In this role you will support the effective day-to-day operation of the school by undertaking a broad range of administration activities including human resources, finance and student support.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with students as part of a small dynamic team then this role is for you.
This position is being offered on a part time basis at 32.5 hours per week, until 11 December 2026 unless otherwise determined.

About the Role:
- As the Administration Officer, you may undertake work across a broad range of corporate service activities, including human resource (HR), financial and facilities, and/or undertake a narrow range of duties relating to a specific corporate services function.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities for the efficient and effective provision of corporate services to support school operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day management of school support staff, including recruitment, induction, training and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
- Coordinate staffing processes, leave management, Blue Card compliance and staff records.
- Assist with supervision of support staff, workload management and professional development opportunities.
- Manage supply and contract staffing arrangements for teaching and support staff.
- Provide financial and administrative support, including budget monitoring, purchasing and record management.
- Assist with resource, asset and facilities management, including maintenance coordination and stocktakes.
- Support capital works and minor projects to ensure school facilities are safe, compliant and well maintained.
