An exciting opportunity exists to join the Education Services team within the Metropolitan North Region as a Principal Advisor Education Services, Special Schools - Statewide. You will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment that values innovation, integrity, and inclusive service delivery. Whilst reporting to the Director Education Services, Metropolitan North Region, you'll engage closely with regional teams, school leaders, and departmental stakeholders across four regions.

About the Role:
This role requires both strategic insight and practical execution. As Principal Advisor Education Services, you will:
- Lead and implement policies, projects, and initiatives that strengthen education service delivery across the region.
- Provide timely, high-level advice to senior leaders and school communities to support decision-making.
- Analyse regional and school-level performance data to guide planning and resource allocation.
- Develop performance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and briefings to inform. regional and executive planning.
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated service delivery.
What We're Looking For:
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary Special schooling contexts is fundamental to this role.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex initiatives and driving strategic outcomes.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality advice in a fast-paced, policy-driven environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration.
- A genuine commitment to inclusive, evidence-informed practice and service delivery.
- Sound judgement and the ability to interpret and apply education policy in a regional context.
- A clear understanding of Queensland's departmental priorities, policy frameworks, and operational landscape.
