About the Role:
As the Business Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the financial, operational and administrative functions at Dayboro State School. Working closely with the Principal, you will ensure the school runs smoothly and resources are used effectively to support its goals. You will work closely with the substantive Business Manager, who has temporarily reduced to 0.6FTE after maternity leave.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing budgets, financial planning, and providing advice on the school's financial position.
- Leading and mentoring support staff, including retirement, training and performance management.
- Improving administrative processes to enhance efficiency and meet departmental policies.
- Overseeing facilities management, including maintenance, upgrades and project coordination.
- Building strong networks with staff, families and the wider community.
