learning, support staff and create an environment where students are encouraged to achieve their potential.
You will provide strategic and instructional leadership, build strong relationships across the school
community and work collaboratively with teachers, students, families and stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
This is a temporary full-time (21 January 2027 to 10 December 2027, unless

Your opportunity:
Within this role you will work closely with the Principal and school team to develop, articulate and implement a shared educational vision focused on quality learning opportunities and outcomes for all students.
You will assist with the day-to-day management of the school and contribute to the implementation of school priorities, initiatives and improvement strategies. You will work with teachers, students, families and community stakeholders to strengthen relationships, support effective practice and foster a positive school culture.
When required, you will deputise for the Principal, providing continuity in decision-making, school operations and the implementation of key priorities.
You will uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity, demonstrating integrity, professionalism and sound judgement in your interactions and decision-making. You will also embed socially just practices into daily school life, promoting fairness, respect and equitable opportunities for students and staff.
Establishing and maintaining high standards for student and staff performance will be an important part of the role. You will support staff to reflect on their practice, identify opportunities for improvement and maintain a strong focus on effective teaching and learning.
You will also be committed to your own professional growth through lifelong learning and ongoing professional development. This will enable you to continually strengthen your practice and respond effectively to the changing needs of the school community.
Through collaboration, sound decision-making and a commitment to high standards, you will support the Principal in creating a school environment where staff and students can thrive.
