Transit Lounge are looking for an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join their team. QEII is a medium metropolitan facility offering a range of adult inpatient, outpatient, intensive care and emergency services. Specialist services include, but not limited to -urology, gynaecology, geriatric rehabilitation, orthopaedic, palliative care, cardiac, general surgical, general medical and canossa rehabilitation beds. The Transit Lounge provides an environment which allows for care of patients whilst in transit into and out of QEII Hospital.

About the Role 

• Utilise knowledge and skills within their scope of practice to plan nursing/midwifery care as delegated by the RN/RM, communicating progress, and documenting accurately.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients/residents/clients and visitors utilising a contemporary quality and risk management framework including escalation of care and concerns as required.
• Demonstrate appropriate planning and coordination skills in Patient Flow, Transit Lounge clinical care delivery.
• Contribute to unit's philosophy of care delivery under the indirect or direct supervision of the RN/RM.
