The Division of Cancer Services are looking for a Temporary Full time Gamma Knife Coordinator position to join their team. The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) Oncology Services is a highly developed, multidisciplinary cancer service in one of Australia’s largest teaching hospitals. The hospital provides a comprehensive adult cancer service encompassing haematological, surgical, and medical and radiation oncology specialities, including immunotherapy, cell therapy, and cancer vaccines and autologous stem cell transplantation.

About the Role
- Schedule, manage and co-ordinate Gamma Knife appointments for patients from various referral points, in conjunction with MDT meetings, telehealth appointments and patient's demographic location. This includes sourcing appropriate data, completing data entry into relevant systems, registering new patient details, and update existing patient details. Some of the systems include MOSAIQ/HBCIS/ESM.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Provide excellent customer services, and communicate clearly and confidently with medical, nursing and professional staff, as well as members of the public over the phone, via email and in person and assist staff and clients in the work unit as requested.
- Resolve day to day operational issues regarding procedures and staff within the team and assist with review of the work practices by maintaining high professional work standards and seeking ways for ongoing improvement.
- Supervise and manage administration support staff responsible to this position including preparation of rosters, management of workloads, organisation of relief where appropriate, performance planning and review while ensuring duties are completed efficiently and within timeframes.
