Allied Health are looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team. The Physiotherapy unit at QEII is part of a multi-professional service providing care to inpatients and outpatients. Inpatient services are provided in the geriatric, orthopaedic, general medical, general surgical, ICU and GEMRHITH settings. The physiotherapy department also provides a primary and secondary contact service in the emergency department. Outpatient services include musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, women's men's pelvic health and vestibular. Contribute to patient care by providing administrative and clinical assistance to allied health professionals.

About the Role

• Provide a range of individual patient interventions as delegated by the AHP and work under the direction of AHPs. The AHP determines tasks the AHA is competent to perform.
• Prepare and /or implement individual or group treatment programs for patients under the supervision and direction of the therapists and report on patient performance as required.
• Assist with the personal care, manual handling and transport of patients.
• Undertake the transport, set up, monitoring and care of clinical equipment, therapy material, educational resources, and assistive devices.
