Your new Role:

The Clinical Nurse (CN) role involves managing complex care for Emergency Department patients, ensuring quality standards are met. The CN works independently within the healthcare team, providing leadership in clinical practice, education, and research, while also supporting management activities and portfolio responsibilities.

• Provide expert clinical leadership in patient's/resident's/client's assessment, care planning and practice and role model to and collaborate with the healthcare team.

• Exercise excellent communication skills, strong patient focus and high level of attention to detail
• Demonstrate a high level of clinical critical thinking and problem-solving skills, applying theory into nursing practice in the provision of best practice.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
