The Consumer Partnering Team are looking for a Project Support Officer (Youth) to join their team and support the enhancement of youth consumer and community engagement. The Metro South Health Governance portfolio of responsibility includes: Clinical Governance, Risk and Compliance, Legal Services and is responsible for the performance and outcomes of MSH's governance systems, particularly in the areas of patient safety, quality, compliance and risk.

About the Role 

  • Using personal lived/living experience perspective, serve as a positive role model to consumers and staff as a source of information on their personal experience of accessing and receiving adolescent and young adult healthcare services.
  • Utilise lived experience expertise, skills, and knowledge of adolescent and young adult healthcare services to contribute to continuous improvement, innovation and adoption of best practice youth consumer and community engagement.
  • Participate in activities, engage, and build rapport with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders displaying appropriate empathy, adapting style accordingly and being aware of personal boundaries when working with consumers, staff, and other stakeholders.
