Assistant Director of Pharmacy
QEII Jubilee Hospital, Coopers Plains
QEII Hospital Pharmacy Department are looking for an Assistant Director of Pharmacy to join their team. With a team of approximately 28 pharmacists, we provide medication management services 7 days per week to QEII hospital. This role provides leadership and authoritative counsel within the Pharmacy multi-disciplinary team and across the Hospital and Health Service to contribute to the strategic direction of pharmaceutical care at QEII Hospital and community of practice level by applying knowledge, skills and experience that are recognised within the profession at an advanced level.

About the Role
- Manage the operational delivery of medication management services for multiple multidisciplinary pharmacy teams within the QEII Hospital Health Service Directorate to deliver efficient services consistent with QH strategic intents, relevant statutory requirements, policies and procedures, and professional and ethical guidelines and standards.
- Provide advanced level clinical knowledge, advice, professional judgement and leadership in critical clinical problem solving to medical, nursing and pharmacy practitioners within the hospital.
- Provide and be accountable for highly-complex clinical decision making through high level knowledge and interpretation of evidence based practice.
- Provide professional leadership, judgement and advice in the development and multidisciplinary teams, and lead the implementation of Pharmacy-related change initiatives to achieve identified outcomes.
