Redlands Maintenance Services are looking for Trade Supervisor - Building Trades to join their team. Metro South Maintenance Services are the incumbent maintenance provider for Metro South Health Hospitals and Health Service (MSH) Facilities, with the primary objective to manage the corrective and preventative maintenance for all MSH infrastructure and facilities. Metro South's asset management objectives define the approach for delivering maintenance outcomes and the role of Maintenance management in supporting the achievement of the organisational objectives.

About the Role 

• This role is responsible for the management, supervision and coordination of multi-skilled trades, trades assistants and contractors in the delivery of planned and corrective maintenance activities to plant, infrastructure and equipment in order to maintain Metro South Health (MSH) facilities in a safe and functional condition ensuring all work is performed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner to prescribed quality standards meeting customer needs.
• Manage and supervise the trades responsible for the infrastructure and services, construction and maintenance of a major health care facility and specialised equipment. This includes (but not limited to), Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical and external contractors.
• Utilise a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to ensure an exceptional standard of service is maintained, providing responsive and accurate support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders in relation to planning, coordination and operational activity of all trade services, across Metro South Health.
