The Patient Flow Program are looking for a Nurse Manager to join their supportive team.The Metro South Health Patient Flow Program’s primary objective is to support the ability of the health service to maximise capacity for patient care and resource allocation by using a patient centred approach that promotes timely access to safe, quality care. This is achieved through the adaptation of contemporary and creative strategies that eliminate constraints in a patient’s journey.

About the Role

The successful applicant will have demonstrated:

• Advanced knowledge skills and ability in identifying health priorities for contemporary care and practice and accountability for person centred care.
• Knowledge and experience in relation to the patient flow process, community resources/services, referral pathways, and broader Health Service Strategic Plans.
• Knowledge of contract management and procurement processes.
• Competence in human, material and financial resource management practices including the Business Planning Framework.
• Advanced communication, problem solving skills, critical thinking and reasoning.
