Information Access Unit are looking for a Manager to join their team. Health Information Management Service comprises five separate units that provide essential administrative services for the efficient functioning of Metro South Health hospitals. Of the five units, the Information Access Unit is the main point of contact for enquiries regarding confidentiality, privacy and the release of information within Metro South Health hospitals. The unit is responsible for releasing patient information in accordance with legislative provisions.

About the Role 

• Oversee information release across the Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals and Adult Community Services Metro South wide.
• Carry out the role of Privacy and Confidentiality Contact officer for the Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals and Adult Community Services Metro South wide.
• Act as the senior point of expertise for information release within the Logan-Beaudesert Health service and Adult Community Services including Mental Health, providing strategic advice and statutory interpretation when required.
