The Metro South Health Primary Care Partnerships Unit (PCPU) is looking for Business Practice Improvement Officer join their committed team. PCPU is an outpatient supporting and enabling service encompassing the Metro South Health Central Referral Hub, General Practice Liaison, Business Practice Improvement, and management of the ESM outpatient scheduling system for Metro South Health. The collective of support services assist outpatient departments deliver safe quality care, providing advice and guidance on best practice, workflow, compliance, data, reporting and funding.

About the Role

  • Provide expertise, coordination, development, and education in best practice management of systems and processes to support, enhance and streamline patient access to outpatient services.
  • Have a focus on SOSIS application, best practice workflows, Model of Cares, and associated ESM mapping to ensure optimised data reporting and funding that aligns with service delivery intent.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure outpatient processes, data systems and reports support the provision of efficient outpatient services.
