Duty Nurse Patient Flow Manager

Patient Flow Services are looking for several Duty Nurse Manager and Patient Flow Manager's to join their team. The Duty Nurse (DNM) & Patient Flow Manager (PFM) works across both the Duty Nurse Manager and Patient flow Manager roles within the unit. The role's strategically coordinate human staff resources and bed allocations for routine, emergency department and outpatient department admissions across the facility. The team also facilitate inter-hospital transfers to and from surrounding hospitals.

About the Role
- Responsible for the achievement of operational and strategic performance targets, evaluations and outcomes in line with operational plans, service targets and national and state benchmarks.
- Accountable for operational application and functionality of the Business Planning Framework (BPF) to support safe staffing, consumer outcomes, budget integrity and fiscal management.
- Participate in internal and external stakeholder engagement for nursing education and training by directing and monitoring strategies that support and promote education and learning.
- Lead, advise and influence, demonstrating integrity, transparency and accountability at operational, professional, policy, research and training levels.
