Required to work across all MSPCS sites, including Corinda, Logan and Redland Community Palliative Care
Metro South Palliative Care Service are looking for a Multi-Disciplinary Team Leader to join their team. The Metro South Palliative Care Service (MSPCS) provides specialist palliative care utilising the model for population-based care developed by Palliative Care Australia. MCPCS provides direct care in the Canossa Palliative Care Unit and Wynnum Manly Palliative Care Unit (WMPCU), consultative and/or direct care of patients in all hospitals in the Metro South Hospital and Health Service and provides community-based specialist palliative care across the district.

About the Role
- Provide collaborative leadership and change management to support local implementation of innovative service models within the MSPCS Allied Health team by engaging stakeholders, developing appropriate educational support materials and resources and effectively communicating new developments and outcomes.
- Facilitate evidence-based practice in the area of interprofessional team members of MSPCS to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service provision and discharge planning, through implementation and facilitation of quality initiatives, literature reviews, attendance at professional development activities and involvement in research and education.
- Utilise high-level communication, inter-personal skills, negotiation and conflict management skills to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and achieve key performance indicators for effective service delivery. This includes identification and escalation of profession specific supervisory issues to relevant professional directors.
- Provides leadership and change management to support local implementation by engaging stakeholder, developing appropriate education support materials and resources and effectively communicating new developments and outcomes.
