Gastroenterology Ambulatory Services are looking for an Associate Clinical Nurse Consultant: Inflammatory Bowel Disease to join their team. The Gastroenterology Ambulatory Service is committed to providing high quality patient centred care to patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver function through specialist outpatient clinics, endoscopy and inpatient services. Medical and nursing sessions are conducted daily with services also provided to the Secure Unit. The service also provides a research site for clinical trials and research through grant and industry support.

About the Role
- Demonstrate advanced specialised knowledge, experience, and clinical skills/competence in Gastroenterology and IPD nursing practice and theory.
- Collaborate and support the Clinical Nurse Consultant and the healthcare team to deliver safe clinical practice in alignment with organisation goals and unit priorities.
- Demonstrate and maintain expertise in IBD to provide the highest standards of safe quality care and clinical nursing practice to meet the requirements for person centred care.
- Provide patients, relatives and carers with appropriate education considering the patient goals, health care needs and environmental factors and tailoring education to suit these needs.
