Purpose of the Role
The Skin Lesion Assessment Management Clinical Nurse Consultant/Care Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, support, and management of processes involved in the management of patients with non-melanoma skin cancer. This includes Nurse- Led clinic coordination. The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the specialty of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The Clinical Care Coordinator (CCC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, primary health and wider plastic & reconstructive surgical health care team supporting the clinical unit in the provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The role will also provide the support to Plastic Surgery team, MDT, nursing staff and patients attending the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Outpatients Department.

Context
▪This role reports professionally to Assistant Nurse Director, Surgical Ambulatory Services, Division of Surgery.
▪This role reports operationally to Assistant Nurse Director, Surgical Ambulatory Services, Division of Surgery.
▪This position may have professional or indirect responsibility of approximately 5 FTE.
▪Any financial and human resource delegations are in accordance with MSH Financial Sub-Delegations Manual and MSH Human Resource Sub-Delegations Manual.
▪Any cost centre management is in accordance with Metro South Health (MSH) Financial Sub-Delegations Manual and MSH Human Resource Sub-Delegations Manual.
