Women and Birthing Services are looking for a Registered Midwife - Midwifery Group Practice to join their team. The Women and Birthing service at Redland Hospital consists of a 16-bed antenatal and postnatal inpatient ward with a home visiting service; a seven-bed Birthing Suite with three birthing pools for water immersion and birth, a four-bed Maternity Assessment Unit and Antenatal OPD. This service is support by a 10-bed Special Care Nursery.

About the Role

• Deliver safe, individualised, compassionate, quality midwifery care; working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice outcomes for the mother, her family and cultural kinship structures.
• Engage in reflective, analytical practice through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct person-centred care.
• Develop in partnership with the woman, individualised care plans for antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care which may extend to women's health, reproductive and sexual health, and child and family health care.
