Clinical Nurse - Cancer Day Therapy Unit

Division of Cancer Services (DoCS) are looking for a Clinical Nurse to join their Cancer Day Therapy Unit. DoCS at the Princess Alexandra Hospital is a highly developed multidisciplinary cancer service in one of Australia's largest teaching hospitals. The hospital provides comprehensive adult cancer services encompassing haematological, surgical, medical and radiation oncology specialties, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, cell therapy, cancer vaccines and stem cell transplantation.

About the Role
- Provide advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination skills in the clinical management of Cancer patients/residents/clients with complex care needs.
- Provide expert clinical leadership in patient's/resident's/client's assessment, care planning and practice and role model to and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Responsible for and able to function in complex situations while providing support and direction to the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate participation in developing, evaluating, and updating clinical service procedures, protocols, standards, and guidelines.
