The Pharmacy Department, Division of Allied Health & Rehabilitation are looking for a Temporary Full time Pharmacy Administration Officer position to join their team. The Pharmacy Department provides a range of services including clinical information and assessment on the ward, clinics, oncology services, sterile production of specialised medicine, patient and professional education and advice, an outpatient pharmacy, bulk stores of fluid and other items as well as imprest supplies. The primary function of the Pharmacy is to provide clinical services that support the activities across all divisions of the hospital.

About the Role
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly and confidently with patients, members of the public and departmental staff over the phone, via email and in person and assist staff and clients in the work unit as requested.
- Proficiently complete functions associated with patient appointment activities, including the arrival of patients, booking appointments, management of cancellation/rescheduling of clinics, management of clinic waiting lists and coordinating appointments with other services.
- Provide administrative support to dispensary area including operation of pneumatic tube system, electronic recording of scripts received and transferring of incoming telephone calls to appropriate person/area.
