Department of Health Queensland Aged Care Assessment Organisation Brisbane South are looking for a Home Support Assessor (Identified - First Nations) to join their team. Aged Care Assessment Organisation Brisbane South (ACA-BS) is a multi-disciplinary team of allied health and nursing clinicians and non-clinical assessors whose main function is to assess the aged care needs of frail older people and assist them to gain access to the most appropriate types of services and care, including approval for Commonwealth subsidised aged care services.

About the Role
- Assessment of older people involving the client, family/carers, service providers and GP's.
- Previous experience with Regional Assessment Service highly desirable.
- Community or residential aged care experience valued.
This is an identified vacancy with a genuine occupational requirement for the position to be filled by a candidate indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community. Candidates not meeting this criteria will not be considered.
