The Radiation Oncology, Division of Cancer are looking for a Clinical Nurse to join their team. Radiation Oncology Princess Alexandra Hospital Raymond Terrace (ROPART) Is located off campus at Raymond Terrace South Brisbane, ROPART is a part of the PAH / Metro South Radiation Oncology Service and provides treatment through a multidisciplinary approach for a diverse range of tumour streams including Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Palliative Care. The primary function of the service is to provide high quality, cost-effective Radiation Oncology services, within clinically appropriate timeframes.

About the Role

• Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge in the use of radiation therapy in the Palliative care setting and treatment implications for this cohort of patients.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, skills, and competence in Radiation Oncology nursing practice and theory.
• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the relevant standards and processes; engage in incident investigation, risk mitigation strategies that foster and support safe practice.
• Demonstrate advanced level clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management and delivery of comprehensive person-centred care.
