Operational Services provides and co-ordinates a diverse range of services that support the clinical divisions in the delivery of client centred health care. The Princess Alexandra Hospital is a tertiary health care centre, providing care in most major adult specialties. About the Role
- Manage the long-term and daily activities and resources of the Porterage Services and Waste Management section within the Department of Operational Services, using entrepreneurial approaches to maximise customer satisfaction and quality.
- Organise, control and direct the human resources within the Porterage Services section including staff allocation, recruitment and selection, and performance review to achieve high productivity and staff satisfaction.
- Ensure quality systems are in place and that systems of compliance monitoring are maintained and that legislative requirements relating to patient handling and waste management are regularly reported.
