The Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence unit are looking for a Senior Psychologist to join their team. The Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care is a Queensland Health service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Located in Inala, 18 km Southwest of Brisbane CBD, our clinic is staffed by GPs, nurses, allied health, and Aboriginal health workers, and visiting medical specialists. We also provide health-related services at a community level, and our research team is dedicated to finding and publishing evidence about how to improve the health of our patients.

About the Role
- Assist in the identification, development, implementation and/or review of clinical practices, procedures and protocols in work areas using the principles of evidence based practice under the guidance of senior staff
- Provide advanced consultation, advice, and secondary support to colleagues across the IMSS and COE teams regarding culturally safe psychological practices and the management of complex trauma presentations.
- Demonstrate initiative in the development of clinical practice, procedures and administrative protocols for psychological services and the interprofessional team that support the continuum of care.
- Assist in the identification, development, implementation and/or review of clinical practices, procedures and protocols in work areas using the principles of evidence-based practice under the guidance of senior staff.
