Research and Learning Network, Metro South Addiction & Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) are looking for Senior Allied Health Clinician and Research Assistiant to join their team. MSAMHS provide inpatient, hospital based and community mental health services in addition to alcohol and drug services to all age groups at a number of campus across Metro South Health. MSAMHS is committed to the provision of services that are patient centred and recovery focused. Mental Health Services are guided by the Mental Health Act 2016.

About the Role
- Act as a senior research assistant to support research conducted by the Mental and Physical Health research group at MSAMHS. This includes provision of senior clinical, problem-solving skills, expert planning and co-ordination of patients with complex care needs within a research framework.
- Manage an allocated research workload in accordance with established clinical and departmental protocols, policies and procedures; utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards, demonstrating a high level of independence, clinical judgement and complex decision making.
- Continually develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through self-directed learning, active learning within a team environment and engaging in professional development activities, including participating in the performance appraisal and development plans.
