About the Role
- Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan for Metro South Health.
- Co-ordinate the planning of audits / investigations / reviews / projects including conduct of audits, across Metro South Health and monitor progress against the annual plan.
- Apply a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes while ensuring the efficient, effective and economic use of resources.
- Contribute to the strategic leadership of Metro South Health through preparation of high-quality papers and where required participation on key executive/board committees.
- Conduct quality review of audit deliverables including audit work papers, furnish high quality written reports to the Head of Internal Audit and undertake presentations on audit outcomes to clients, management and stakeholders.
