Safety Systems Implementation Team, Employee Health Safety and Wellbeing are looking for a Senior Safety Consultant to join their team. The purpose of the role is to deliver high level professional Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) advice and the provision of a comprehensive safety management system for Metro South Health Hospital and Health Service. The role liaises with all levels of the organisation to provide a contemporary, responsive, Safety Management System and Wellness programs.

About the Role
- Monitor and report on information management systems for example: Riskman, safety inspections, health management, well-being, fire training, evacuation, CHEMALERT, and HAZMAT as required.
- Analyse injury and WorkCover data to establish risk profiles and prioritise audit and inspection processes in facilities within MSH.
- Coordinate the management and evaluation of Metro South Health safety policies and initiatives, strategies and programs to MSH facilities to meet Metro South legislated requirements and to improve overall organisational health, safety and wellbeing.
