Your new Role:

The role is to provide high quality medical care under the supervision and guidance of consultant medical staff that meets the needs of patients requiring urgent, but non-life-threatening, illnesses and injuries.

Eight Mile Plains Satellite Hospital - Maroo-goodji-ba:

The satellite hospital is also known as Maroo-goodji-ba, a name chosen by the community and local Traditional Owners and Elders means ‘peace, wellbeing and place of red earth' in the Yagarabul language.

The satellite hospital treats minor illnesses and injuries that aren't life-threatening and also have a range of specialist services, including kidney dialysis, cancer day therapy and mental, allied health and outpatient services.
