About the Role
- Proficiently complete functions associated with the wait list of patients, booking for procedures/appointments, managing cancellations, rescheduling and removals from the waiting list using the relevant information systems in a timely manner.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Provide excellent customer services, and communicate clearly and confidently with patients, members of the public and departmental staff over the phone, via email and in person and assist staff and clients in the work unit as requested.
- Utilise information systems to record and update all patient information demographic information. Medicare details and referral details (e.g. HBCIS, MediRecords, ESM). Also, using these systems to track the movement of patient charts, health fund details and admission details, ensuring data integrity and patient confidentiality by adhering to approved policies, guidelines and workplace instructions.
