Your new role:
As an Administration Services Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored training to Administration Services staff, ensuring adherence to Queensland Health policies and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of patient databases. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, preparing, and delivering effective training programs in various formats (classroom, one-on-one, rolling sessions) to new and existing staff.
- Monitoring and evaluating training outcomes through competency testing and providing constructive feedback to trainees and management.
- Identifying and resolving routine data discrepancies within patient medical records, providing education and escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Collaborating with the Training Coordinator and attending relevant meetings to support continuous improvement of administrative processes.

- Strong expertise in designing and delivering learner-focused training programs, adaptable to diverse formats and audiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and sensitively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring accuracy and validity in training delivery and data management.
- Problem-solving abilities, capable of integrating knowledge to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, contributing positively to the department's culture and objectives.

Princess Alexandra Hospital:
The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
