Senior Research Officer
Princess Alexandra Hospital
Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology are looking for an Allied Health - Senior Research Officer to join their Princess Alexandra Hospital team. The purpose of this role is to act as a senior research assistant for the Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology to support the Diabetes Street Hub research. This includes provision of senior clinical, problem-solving skills, expert planning, and co-ordination of patients with complex care needs within a research framework.

About the Role
- Provide independent advice and guidance to the principal investigators and financial representatives with regards to financial records, ensuring research projects are run within their defined budget and correct payments are received and recorded.
- Demonstrate high level knowledge and ability to apply relevant legislation, guidelines, standards and acts to appropriately ensure safe and professional research conduct.
- Independently monitor and report on key outcomes and safety endpoints related to research completion using clinical assessment and problem-solving skills, including integration of research outcomes into clinical practice, strategic direction and stakeholder engagement.
- Actively promote the patient advocacy role by independently implementing the ongoing process of informed consent and ensuring patient's confidentiality and autonomy is maintained.
- Oversee the completion of accurate case report forms with verifiable source documentation and data entry with a high degree of independence.
