About the Role
This includes implementing and monitoring operational activities and leading professional governance activities for a team of social workers involved in the sexual assault response service including implementing sustainable biopsychosocial support systems for staff with the effective management of a MSH wide afterhours on-call Social Work roster to ensure all patients presenting to MSH facilities reporting sexual assault have access to psychosocial support.
As well as:
Plan, develop, implement and evaluate service planning and project initiatives relating to the Sexual Assault Response Service.
Establish and maintain effective partnerships between stakeholders across the hospital, community and primary health care sector including consumers to ensure the SARS initiative is effectively enabled.
Demonstrate improved outcomes for patients through the SARS model of care and service delivery.
