Your new role:
As a Senior Physiotherapist within QEII Hospital's Vestibular Physiotherapy Service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert clinical care and advancing service quality in a dynamic multidisciplinary team. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based vestibular physiotherapy assessments, interventions, and evaluations for patients within clinical and departmental protocols.
- Leading service development initiatives, including quality improvement projects, clinical education, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes.
- Providing supervision, training, and mentorship to junior clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about vestibular rehabilitation and committed to high standards of clinical practice. The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate advanced clinical judgment and independence in managing complex vestibular cases, applying evidence-based practice with minimal supervision.
- Be proactive in service improvement and research, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Have experience in providing education, supervision, and leadership within a clinical setting, supporting the growth of less experienced staff and students.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
