Your new role:
As an Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Inala Indigenous Health Service, ensuring timely, accurate and professional services that contribute to the delivery of safe and effective healthcare.
Act as the first point of contact for telephone, in-person and written enquiries, providing assistance and directing queries appropriately.
Coordinate appointments, correspondence, Medicare and WorkCover billing, and maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Provide efficient administrative support to clinical staff, including preparing reports, letters, meeting minutes and diary management.
Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting continuous improvement activities and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
About you:
We are looking for an organised and adaptable professional who can deliver excellent administrative services in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Demonstrated administrative experience with strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Competence in using Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn health information systems, Medicare and WorkCover processes.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, showing initiative and commitment to equity, inclusion, and safe work practices.

About us:
The Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care. Also known as Inala Indigenous Health Service, we are a Queensland Health service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Located in Inala, 18 km South West of Brisbane CBD, our clinic is staffed by GPs, nurses, allied health and Aboriginal health workers, and visiting medical specialists.
