Your new role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist – Clinical Educator to deliver exceptional clinical education and Physiotherapy services within an acute inpatient setting. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing patient care through leadership, education, and service improvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based Physiotherapy clinical services and education within a collaborative interprofessional team.
- Leading service development, quality improvement, and clinical education initiatives to advance patient outcomes.
- Supervising and mentoring less experienced clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants.
- Required to contribute to weekend, public holiday and after-hours Physiotherapy services.
About you:
The ideal candidate will bring extensive clinical expertise and a passion for education and leadership within acute Physiotherapy services. You will demonstrate:
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience delivering high-quality Physiotherapy care in acute inpatient settings and clinical education for pre-entry students.
- Proven capability to manage complex clinical caseloads, prioritise care, and contribute to discharge planning in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership skills to supervise, train, and support junior staff and students while driving service improvement initiatives.
