Your new role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services within the Bayside Health Service. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, interprofessional team environment with diverse clinical responsibilities. Key aspects of the position include:

  • Conducting detailed clinical assessments, providing patient education, therapeutic interventions, and contributing to discharge planning.
  • Supervising and educating observational students, allied health assistants, and assisting with undergraduate student supervision.
  • Participating in quality improvement, service development, and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing evidence-based physiotherapy care and working collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare environment. You will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered physiotherapy assessments and treatments.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, and students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to contribute to clinical education and service improvement initiatives.
  • A proactive and compassionate approach, respecting cultural diversity and promoting safe, inclusive healthcare delivery.

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
