Your new role:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead operational and professional nursing practices across Commonwealth Aged Care programs within MSH COHS. In this pivotal role, you will:
Provide leadership in patient safety and quality systems across residential and community-based aged care programs, including Transition Care Programs and the Residential Aged Care Facility.
Coordinate clinical governance frameworks to ensure compliance with Aged Care legislative requirements, the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, and relevant state and federal directives.
Oversee risk management, audit, reporting functions, and consumer partnerships to promote safe, person-centred, and high-quality aged care services.
Advise the MSCOHS Executive and Aged Care Governance Committees on clinical governance and operational matters related to aged care delivery.
About you:
We are looking for a strategic nursing leader with a strong background in aged care service delivery and governance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Comprehensive knowledge of aged care legislation, quality standards, and governance frameworks.
Proven experience in leading safety, quality, risk management, and audit processes in aged care settings.
Strong skills in clinical leadership, team collaboration, and consumer engagement to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
The ability to provide high-level strategic advice and influence key stakeholders at executive and governance levels.
